Your financial records
The records you enter, your plans, categories and savings goals are stored in an encrypted database on your device. The app uses your device's secure key storage to protect its keys. Hardware protection depends on your device; the Security center shows the protection available.
When you use sync, records are encrypted on your device before upload. Our servers store encrypted records and an encrypted recovery envelope, rather than your readable ledger. Your recovery phrase stays under your control. We do not ask you to send it to us.
AresPROS does not require a bank login. Account access uses registered devices and recovery credentials, rather than an email address and password.
Information needed to run the service
We process account and device identifiers, device public keys, platform and app version, consent settings, authentication information, sync timestamps, storage totals and security events. This lets us authenticate devices, synchronize encrypted records, prevent abuse and investigate service failures.
Requests also expose network information, such as your IP address, to our infrastructure. Server-side operational logs include request IDs, the route requested, response status, response time (latency), and device identifiers where relevant. These diagnostics are separate from optional analytics and help us operate and protect the service.
The application's logging layer checks structured log fields against an explicit allowlist and drops fields that are not allowed. Application diagnostic logs do not contain financial record contents, recovery phrases, voice recordings, document contents or raw AI input. Device and request identifiers help us investigate failures without logging the content of your records.
Optional AI processing
If you choose voice or document capture, the selected recording, image or document is sent to AresPROS and processed by Google's Gemini service through Google Cloud Vertex AI. Supporting context can include the date, time zone and currency. This content is readable during processing; it is separate from encrypted record sync.
For AI insights, the app sends calculated summary metrics and category labels rather than the full transaction ledger. AI suggestions do not become financial records until you review and confirm them.
Voice recordings are deleted from your device as soon as a suggestion is ready. If a request fails with a retryable error, the local recording can remain available for you to retry or cancel. Inline audio and images are processed transiently by our server rather than saved as attachments.
We delete uploaded documents when processing completes or fails, and request their deletion when you cancel. If that cleanup cannot complete, or an upload is never processed, the transient storage bucket has a one-day expiration rule as a fallback. Expiration runs asynchronously and can be delayed if cleanup services are unavailable. Copies in your own photo library or files remain under your control.
Google Cloud's terms prohibit using customer prompts and responses to train or fine-tune its models without the customer's prior permission or instruction. Google's Gemini service can cache inputs, outputs and derived data in project-isolated memory for up to 24 hours to improve performance. This cache is not written to disk and can be disabled at the project level.
Where Google's abuse monitoring applies, prompts flagged for suspected policy violations may be retained for up to 90 days and reviewed by authorized Google personnel. This retention is for investigating abuse, not model training. Contractual exemptions or an approved opt-out can change whether this logging applies. These provider retention periods are separate from AresPROS deleting media from your device and our storage.
You can turn off AI features under Settings > Privacy. Manual record entry remains available.
Credits, purchases and complimentary access
When billing features are available, we keep an account-bound introductory credit balance, operation identifiers and status, verified subscription state, store product identifiers and billing periods. A separate random billing reference links a purchase to your AresPROS account without sending your financial ledger or recovery credentials to the store.
Apple or Google handles payment details and provides purchase information needed to verify and restore access. We do not receive your full payment-card details. Purchase tokens needed for ongoing verification are encrypted at rest; hashed purchase-lineage identifiers help prevent the same purchase from being attached to different accounts.
Authorized operators can grant or revoke complimentary feature access. Administrative audit records identify the operator, affected account or grant, scope, expiry, reason and outcome. These records contain no financial record contents. Operator audit records can remain after account deletion and are subject to a 12-month cleanup period. Billing and access records remain associated with your app account until account cleanup; the purchasing store retains its own payment records under its policies. Deleting your app account does not cancel a store subscription.
Report processing and resumable results
When you request a generated summary report, the app calculates and displays the selected date range, currencies, category totals and record counts before asking for processing consent. This first report format sends summary information rather than individual transaction rows, merchant names, notes or account numbers. Optional AI explanation requires a separate choice and sends the selected summary information to the AI provider.
For operations using credits or subscription access, completed capture and report results are encrypted to a fresh key held on the requesting device before server storage. The encrypted result can be retrieved again if delivery is interrupted. The server clears it after the device acknowledges durable receipt or after its delivery window, no later than 24 hours after the operation was created, subject to background cleanup availability. This encryption is separate from the transient readable input needed to process your chosen task.
Content-free operation metadata records reservations, delivery attempts, completion or release, and temporary abuse-protection cooldowns. We do not store readable prompts, transcripts, financial lines or generated report contents in billing records. Existing saved results and your underlying-data exports remain accessible without a current subscription.
Reminders and notifications
Reminders you set stay on your phone. The time you choose and the words you write are scheduled by your phone's operating system and are never sent to us, so we cannot read them and they are not part of your backup.
If you turn notifications on, Apple gives the app a device token and we store it so the service can reach that phone. A token identifies the app installation, not you by name. It is stored against the device it belongs to, and it is deleted when you turn notifications off, when that device is removed from your account, or when you delete your account.
A notification we send carries a short code, not a sentence. Your phone turns that code into the words you see, so Apple can tell that a notification was sent but not what it was about. We never put an amount, a merchant, a document or a reminder you wrote into a notification.
You can turn notifications off at any time in your phone's settings. Your reminders are kept if you do; the app will tell you that this phone will not show them.
Permissions and analytics
Microphone, camera and file access are used for the capture actions you choose. You can manage these permissions in your phone's settings. Device authentication is handled by the operating system; AresPROS does not receive your fingerprint or facial biometric template.
The app's anonymous analytics preference is off by default. The current app does not include a third-party analytics SDK. This website does not use advertising trackers or analytics cookies.
Retention and deletion
Your records remain on your devices and, when synced, in encrypted server storage while you use the account. Security audit events are subject to a 12-month cleanup period. Used or revoked refresh-token records are retained for up to 30 days to detect token reuse; short-lived authentication and request-deduplication records have shorter cleanup periods.
When a verified account deletion succeeds, the server removes the recovery envelope and revokes registered devices and sessions. Background cleanup then removes encrypted records and associated account information. The requesting device clears its local account data; other devices clear their copies when they next connect and receive the revocation.
Backup copies, where present, age out through backup rotation. Files you exported or copied outside AresPROS are under your control and are not removed by deleting the account. Support correspondence is separate from the app account and is kept as needed to address your request and follow-up questions.
Your choices and requests
You can edit records, export a copy as CSV or JSON, manage paired devices, change AI and analytics preferences, or delete your account in the app. Export and account deletion are under Settings > Security center.
For privacy questions or requests concerning access, correction or deletion, email hi@gotechsystems.com. We may need to verify control of an account before acting. Because accounts are not identified by a sign-in email, an email address alone may not identify your app account. Never include a recovery phrase, passcode, private key or unredacted financial document in a support message.
We will update this page when our practices change. The date above identifies the current version.
